Acceptable Use Policy for AI Content | PicToVideo AI
Content standards, prohibited AI content, moderation, reporting, enforcement, and appeals for image and video generation.
Last updated: 2026-10-21
Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) forms part of our Terms of Service. It applies to everyone using PicToVideo AI, including image-to-video, photo animation, text-to-image, image editing, and video templates. It covers prompts, uploaded images and reference material, generated images and videos, and their use or distribution through the service.
Content standards and prohibited categories
You must not request, upload, generate, edit, or distribute any of the following through the service:
- Pornography / NSFW: sexually explicit imagery, sexual acts, sexual exploitation, nudification, or non-consensual intimate content. Adult-only access or consent does not make this content acceptable here.
- Violence / gore: graphic injury, mutilation, torture, extreme cruelty, or content promoting, threatening, or instructing real-world violence. Non-graphic fictional effects must still comply with all other rules.
- Hate speech: content that attacks, dehumanizes, or encourages discrimination or violence against people based on characteristics such as race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
- Child-unsafe content / CSAM: any sexual depiction, sexualization, exploitation, grooming, or abuse of a minor or someone presented as a minor, including synthetic, illustrated, or fictional depictions. This is prohibited without exception.
- Deepfakes / impersonation: face swaps, fabricated speech or actions, intimate composites, or other synthetic depictions that impersonate a real person. A person's permission does not authorize prohibited real-person deepfakes. Do not impersonate an organization or falsely suggest an endorsement. Ordinary authorized photo animation must not fabricate an identity, statement, or event or mislead viewers about reality. Real-person face swaps, nudification, and composites showing real people hugging or kissing are prohibited even when every depicted adult consents.
- Copyright / trademark infringement: material you lack permission or another lawful basis to use, unauthorized copies of protected works, counterfeit branding, or output that infringes another party's copyright or trademark rights.
Also prohibited are terrorism or violent extremism, instructions for weapons of mass destruction, fraud, doxxing, malicious software, and attempts to bypass safety controls. Do not present AI output as authentic evidence or conceal its synthetic origin to deceive others.
Rights in uploaded material
Upload only material you own or are entitled to use. Photos of people must depict you or people whose explicit authorization you have obtained. Permission to use a photo does not override the prohibited categories above. You are responsible for checking rights in inputs and outputs before sharing or commercial use, and for clearly identifying synthetic content when it could otherwise be mistaken for a real recording.
Platform content moderation
Before generation: Waffo Prompt Sift checks the meaning of prompts in enforcement mode, and a separate moderation model accessed through fal checks prompts and reference images. Generation proceeds only after approval. Generation providers may also apply their own safeguards.
Before release: every generated image and video receives an independent visual review through fal before we publish it to our public delivery storage or display it. Pending or uncertain decisions and review-service failures keep the result hidden while checks are retried. Rejected tasks do not expose their output; any credits charged for that rejected task are returned.
Report-based human review: our support team reviews content reports and appeals using the task ID, relevant material, and account information needed to investigate. Reports concerning child safety, threats, or exploitation receive priority. We assess the context, applicable policy, and any information supplied by the affected user before deciding on action.
Records and limits: we retain moderation decisions and reasons to investigate reports and review appeals. Automated checks can miss violations or reject permitted content; they do not guarantee detection of every violation or prior human approval. Report suspected violations even if generation succeeded.
Report content or misuse
Email support@pictovideo.ai with the subject “Content report”. The same address is available in the website footer and on our contact page for both users and people without an account.
Include the task ID or page URL, the suspected violation, and enough context to locate the material. For copyright or trademark reports, identify the protected work or mark and explain your authority to report it. Do not download, attach, or redistribute suspected CSAM; provide only identifiers or URLs. Reports are used for investigation and shared only as needed to handle the case or meet legal obligations, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Enforcement actions
Depending on severity and repetition, we may reject a request, issue a warning, require offending material to be removed, restrict or suspend access, or terminate an account. We may remove or disable access to content under our control and report suspected illegal activity to competent authorities where required or appropriate. Severe child-safety violations or prohibited real-person deepfakes may result in immediate termination without a prior warning. Copies already downloaded or shared outside the service may be beyond our control.
We will communicate an action and its reason when appropriate and legally permitted. Deliberately false reports and attempts to evade restrictions also violate this policy.
Appeals and policy updates
To ask for reconsideration, email support@pictovideo.ai with the subject “Content appeal”, your task or account identifier, the decision being challenged, and relevant context. We review the decision and communicate the outcome; reporting or appealing does not itself guarantee restoration of access. This page's update date identifies the current policy, and material changes will be communicated through the service where appropriate.
